VFS 48 Hour Film Festival.

For those that don't know, the film competition starts off with each group given a number of elements.

In our case we received...

A National Holiday - Flag Day
A Photo - A photo of a fridge
A Soundbyte - Radio Static
A Line of Dialogue - "My fathers shrimp fishing off the coast of Chile.."
A Location - Swan Laundry on Burrard St.

And obviously you have 48 hrs to write, prep, shoot and edit. So not alot of time!

Written and Directed by Nik Green, Camera by Rob Hayes and Cory Johnson, Sound by Mark Soderberg and comic relief by Stu Morrison

Hoovering Blow - Written and Directed by Nik Green and Rick McEachern

A silly little film we did for a Grindhouse competition before the release of the feature. It's nuts but has somehow garnered over 23,000 hits.
